SkunkBeatManiac This EP is like Type O Negative meets MDM. There are good variety of songs - from mid paced gothic MDM with some blasting to atmospheric funeral. Vocal style is neurotic and quite unique. Favorite track: Vanished.

Vanished 06:04
Here lies where the once great fell Cold, black thoughts surround this shell Greeting hands, the timeless void once more Let the night come ever fast The purest form to be at last As the life once lived now rests still on the floor Embrace the night again Returning to the hidden place Back to the darkest space To sing the songs of weeping friends And to leave this world today Look now at this broken face Vanished without a trace Into the shapeless depths descend A bitter grief in this hour The barren fields to be scoured For the reason and the purpose; never to be found Left behind the empty feeling A shroud of anguish here concealing All that remains are the wretched cries, from the peaks they shall resound These depths are painted in dripping, dreary death Condemned as one shall take their final breath Splintered and shattered, the soul cannot bear The suffocating grasp of dread and despair Deteriorated; much too young to die Echo the weeps and the withered to the sky

Reason 09:01
A sudden nightfall shakes the earthbound core It was clear you could not take much more Still breath rests silent on the frozen, mocking cold Release yourself from life's unyielding stranglehold Tell me the reason, why didn't you stay? Forever seperated, I'll never be okay. I have to know. I can't live out a lie. Of all the people, why must it have been you to die? Oh, this horrendous night! Taking away the light that once was inside An ungodly blight Impossible to hide Poisoned blood ran strong to your broken, battered heart Much too soon the reaper called; No choice but to depart Now visit God and sit before his loving hand As tears of loved ones spread your ashes on the sand One soul departs too fast To gaze from Heaven's gate Why can't you be here longer? Why can't you bear to wait? Filled with nothing but pain and anguish Conspiring to create your destined end And here we cry Under the clouded, weeping sky And I couldn't even say goodbye When I found you in that room Oh what a horrific sight To see what once was alive but from now no longer Cannot handle the aftermath Taking down the pictures from the walls to lie them still in a box Removing belongings and mementos As if this had never happened and repressing you in my mind But I cannot condemn your actions All I can do is attempt to understand Yet it's too much to think about going forward And this tragedy will shape me to my grave

Shutter 10:52
Part I: The Dying Sun Here rests what once was The light is gone to past Tormented in the dark The end is reached at last A decision by her own hand Never once at peace A life consumed by sorrow Now forever deceased The light twists into darkness; I wish to take it back By the piercing of the razors; Now bathing in eternal black Drying on the floor, and staining to the soul Haunting to the senses; Horrific acts one can't control I weep for what took place; I cry before the dawn Crack the skies now open; To dwell upon the dying sun I've failed you, my dear friend; A help I couldn't be No longer shall the pain persist; Clearer than I'll ever see Part II: The Ghostly Void My naked soul, breathless and bare Stripped to the very bone This anguish; This loathing Much greater than ever known Who are you? I know not your name. Your face a stranger to mine What once was there is history Extinguished as light to thine Wailing from the rooftops; Oh Lord, please hear my prayer! Rid me of this curse; Deprive me of despair Remove all hints of pain; These years I must ignore Snuff the light from my mind; Delete me at the rotting core I stare into the mirror; A ghostly void I see No image looking back now; What once was now can never be Away from life I cry; The abyss is my domain Forget me and forgive me; In blood I sign my name Part III: The Deepest Depths Pain embrace the lonely ones who shutter in the night Those that wander far from here, escaping from all sight To the dust returned at once (at last), as the night approaches ever fast Life has come now to an end, in the deepest depths from here descend
